This application serves as a tool for managing content on a Komp device. Komp is a simplified one-button screen designed to facilitate communication for older adults by allowing them to easily stay connected with their families. Specifically tailored to meet the needs of seniors with limited digital proficiency and various physical challenges, such as impaired vision, hearing, or mobility, Komp simplifies the experience by requiring only a single button for operation. The responsibility of managing the device and its functions is taken on by family members or friends through this application.
Upon launching the app, users are prompted to enter the corresponding Komp keyword. For new users, the keyword will be prominently displayed on the screen during the initial setup process, requiring proximity to the Komp device for configuration. In cases where Komp has already been set up, access must be granted through an invitation process.
Key features of this application include the ability to share photos, exchange text messages, and initiate video calls with ease, providing a user-friendly platform for communication.
